Prince Edward Theatre


The magnificent London show Jersey Boys London is running at the magnificent Prince Edward Theatre. The stunning theatre is a popular Westend Theatre and is positioned on Old Compton Street which is in the north of Leicester Square, in City of Westminiter. In the year 1930, Edward A Stome designed this opulent theatre, whereas the interior was created by Marc Henri Levy and Gaston Laverdet.

The theatre has been named after the name of Prince Edward. The theatre has been transformed into a dance and cabaret hall and was renamed as the London Casino. On 10th May, it was completely damaged during the worst air raid of WWII. Thomas Braddock worked over the changes in the stage in the year 1942.

Delfont Mackintosh Group is the current owner of the theatre and havingth March. Some of the notable productions on Prince Edward Theatre are Evita, Chess, Anything Goes, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Crazy for You, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins and Jersey Boys.
